 This year, Apple has launched three new models, the Apple iPhone XS, Apple iPhone XS Max and Apple iPhone XR . The iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch Super OLED Retina display just like the iPhone X and has a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. On the other hand, the iPhone XS Max has a 6.5-inch Super OLED Retina screen (2688 x 1242 pixels) – the biggest on an iPhone till date.

In comparison, the Apple iPhone XR has 6.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels. In terms of storage, the iPhone XR will be available in 64, 128 and 256GB storage.

iPhone XS and XS Max will come in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB storage. Both the Apple iPhone XS and XS Max come with an upgraded dual rear camera system. The phone has a 12MP + 12MP camera setup with OIS on both sensors, 2x optical zoom and new Super HDR features. The true tone flash has been improved too and now has an advanced flicker detect system for natural lighting. In the software, there is a new depth slider which allows you to adjust the depth of field after clicking a photo now. The front has
a 7MP camera with f2.2 aperture and a faster sensor. These two phones are now IP68
certified for water and dust resistance.

Apple iPhone XR is the successor to the Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus range. It has a 7000 series aluminum body and it is IP 67 certified for water and dust resistance. It has a single 12MP rear camera with f1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Front camera is a 7MP shooter just like the other two iPhones. All three iPhone’s are powered by Apple’a latest A12 Bionic processor. The A12 Bionic processor has a 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU delivering up to 50% faster performance. All iPhone models come with an improved FaceID system which has enhanced security. Apple also claims that the phones have superior battery life compared to the predecessors.

iPhone XS, XS Max and XR will come with Apple’s latest iOS 12 out of the box.
The iPhone now has dual SIM slots through which users can have two wireless service plans (which may include restrictions on roaming). All new iPhones will now come with a nano- SIM slot and a digital eSIM. A special dual SIM variant of the iPhone was also announced exclusive to China which allows users to put two physical SIM cards. However, Dual SIM support will be added via a software update later the year.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be available in India from 28th September 2018.
iPhone XS is priced Rs 99,900 onwards and the iPhone XS Max is priced Rs 1,09,900
onwards. Apple iPhone XR will be available white, black, blue, yellow, coral and red colour.
Price starts Rs 76,900 onwards and it will be available for purchase from 26th October 2018.
