Remember this scene from James Bond flick ‘Casino Royale’, when ‘Vespa’ and ‘James’, first met each other, in the train? The conversation about ‘expensive watches’ was one way of reiterating that 007 does not wear Rolex anymore. For last several James bond movies, Omega has been the hero’s choice of watch. Come September, James Bond’s ‘Spectre’ will hit theatres, but before that Omega has already announced its Bond watch dedicated to the upcoming Bond film. James Bond Omega watch 2015 is a limited edition, Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M model.
Omega has a special pattern, on the watch dial to represent Bond family Coat of Arms. COA is a pattern seen on shield logos. COA were used by armies, knights to identify countries or regions. Below is a close up image of the pattern and besides that is the COA of Bond family.
James Bond Omega Watch Spectre has a dynamic pattern on the watch’s blue dial. The coat of arms is also found near the tip of the yellow central seconds hand of the James Bond Spectre Omega watch.
James Bond Omega Watch 2015 comes in limited 15,007 pieces. It is among Omega’s pre Basel 2015 launches.
Among the most striking elements of this 41.5 mm stainless steel timepiece is the oscillating weight of the movement visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. This component has been cut and shaped to resemble a gun barrel, a design feature associated with James Bond.
Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M is powered by the newest OMEGA Master Co-Axial calibre 8507. James Bond Omega watch is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,007 gauss. It is also water resistant to 150 meters.
The timepiece is presented on a stainless steel bracelet. The new James Bond Omega Watch will be available in stores, mostly before the Bind film Spectre hits the big screens, in November 2015.
