I am surprised at the sizeable interest this luxury phone has gathered, in very little time. Several queries have come pouring from LV readers about Tonino Lamborghini Phone – Lamborghini Antares. Antares luxury phone was announced in November last year with a proposed launch in spring for US and European markets. Russia and China received the device, earlier.
I wasn’t expecting to get a hands-on first impression/ review of the device until later 2014. To my pleasant surprise Tonino Lamborghini decided to showcase its star Lamborghini Luxury Phone, at Basel World 2014 and invited me to visit. BW is the biggest watch exhibition in the world and is hosted, in Basel, every year.
Lamborghini mobile looks very different in flesh from its pictures. It is so much more attractive and glossier. Distinctively, curvaceous for a touch screen phone. Hardware is much thicker than what I expected it to be. Seems like the leather and angular back-design added to the body width.
Every aspect of the Antares phone is spectacularly designed. Run your eyes from the bottom to the top and you will notice, what I mean. Powerful aesthetics of the luxury smartphone are a result of traditional Italian craftsmanship. Lamborghini mobile protects a 4 inch HD touch screen behind a strong and scratch resistant Gorilla Glass. Body is 13.5MM thick. It sports stylish curves and faceted lines, quite confidently. Finished to perfection the metal parts are strengthened together with screws.
Tonino Lamborghini’s logo, the raging bull, holds fort at bottom portion of phone in front and stamped on the leather chassis, too. 5MP camera with full HD video recording ability, is included above front screen.
A lot of work has gone into shaping the back of Lamborghini phone. Bottom side is curved inwards to bring mike closer to mouth. Middle back is shaped to allow better grip. Leather adds Italian aura to the hardware. This android luxury phone brims with aesthetics, similar to that of a Lamborghini car. You can see speakers placed around the mike area, to look like grills on car bumper.
A strong sound system & amplifier by Yamaha, surrounds top portion. Boot space of Lamborghini phone with android should be sufficient with 2GB RAM, 32 GB inbuilt. Memory can be expanded by another 32GB memory card that comes packed, inbox.
A 13 Mp camera with single flash sits in the middle of Yamaha Speaker grill.

It might not be fastest phone in market as one would expect from the ‘Lamborghini’ name attached to it. But this gorgeous machine won’t disappoint with quad-core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz. Lamborghini luxury phone is powered by Android operating system.
The limited edition luxury phone comes in delectable colours Red, White, Black, Brown, Blue on leather. Steel is the key metal used to mould the phone.
Lamborghini ph is for those who won’t mind holding a slightly-thicker phone, even while size-zero, mean-mobile-machines are out there, in the market.
