Simple and classic. The new Oyster Perpetual Air-King has a medium sized 40mm steel case paired with an Oyster steel bracelet. The watch features a unique black dial with a prominent minute scale for navigational time readings. Calibre 3131, a self-winding mechanical movement is developed in-house. It is crafted to withstand extreme shocks and drastic temperature changes.
Basel 2016 Rolex Day-Date Watches
Day-Date turns 60 this year. And Rolex has gone all out to create one helluva range of watches to celebrate its most iconic ‘President’s watch’ for Baselworld 2016. They have modernized the design and given it a brand new movement, Calibre 3255.
The most special of the lot is the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40mm in the brand’s hallmark colour, green. The bright new dial is paired with a white gold or Everose case featuring the distinctive fluted bezel and President bracelet. The ladies can check out the diamond-dripping pieces that come in three variations. We particularly loved the carousel of lavender and green jade dials.
New Rolex Yacht-Master in Brown Dial
The newest avatar of the sporty yet classic Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master is seen in a fascinating blend of 904L steel and Everose gold. Rolex calls it the Everose Rolesor, now. It is teamed with a gorgeous chocolate dial. One of the most popular nautical time instruments, the Yacht-Master is a great watch for sailing enthusiasts. The 40mm case features a bidirectional rotatable bezel in the matt finished Everose. Three other variations have been launched in steel and platinum combinations with blue and dark rhodium dials. The 37mm version can fancy the ladies too.
Basel 2016 Rolex Explorer watch Blue Numbers
Let there be light. Explorer enthusiasts couldn’t have asked for a better change in aesthetics while keeping the original design intact. The new Oyster Perpetual Explorer now comes with an entirely luminescent Chromalight display for better legibility. Numerals 3, 6 and 9 are filled with luminescent material emitting a long-lasting blue glow. The hour markers and hands glow too. Beating at its heart is the Calibre 3132, a self-winding mechanical movement. The Explorer is fit for men and women looking for a new black Rolex watch of medium dial in its 39mm steel case, paired with a steel Oyster bracelet.
Rolex Cellini Brown Dial and Blue Dial Basel 2016 Watches
Rolex has added new models for Cellini Time, Cellini Date and Cellini Dual Time watch series. Like before, the new Cellini models will come in in 18 ct Everose (rose gold) or white gold. Size remains the same 39mm for medium to large wrists. The new Cellini Time models feature a redesigned white lacquer dial. The hour markers are further elongated. The Cellini Date acquires a blue dial and strap, and the Cellini Dual Time range is expanded by a version with a brown dial and strap.
